I also find it hard to say goodbye to the magic of summer. Open windows, sunlit mornings, bare arms. Fall is so fleeting (or subtle in my part of the country) that it doesn't really feel like a fair trade!

Exactly! If fall leaves genuinely lasted 3 months, I’d be cool with it. But we just go straight into winter, and that’s a tough pill to swallow.
